Looking for a My PT Hub alternative? An honest comparison

Both give a personal trainer a branded client app, and both can put a real mobile app in the stores under your own name. The difference is where the branding starts. On My PT Hub the client downloads the My PT Hub app and sees your logo after logging in; a listing under your own business name is a separate monthly add-on. FitBrand's subscription plans put your branded app live on your own subdomain within minutes, with no store involved; the store listing is a separate project under Enterprise. Which one is right depends on how much being in the store matters to you.

The short answer

Pick My PT Hub if…

  • You want your client to find your app by searching the App Store or Google Play
  • You want a store listing under your own business name at a published monthly price, without a sales call
  • You want unlimited clients at one published monthly price
  • Opening an Apple Developer account, getting a DUNS number and waiting out the launch window is fine by you
  • Being priced in euros is fine by you

The FitBrand column is how our own product behaves today. Every statement in the My PT Hub column is based on information mypthub.net publishes itself (read on August 27, 2026). We write both sides' prices as they are, in their own currencies: the exchange rate moves every day, so we do not convert here and leave the comparison to you.

What the client downloadsNothing from a store. The client opens a link to your own subdomain (yourbrand.fitbrand.app) and adds it to their home screen. Your logo, your colour and your name are there from the first screen. Works on iOS and Android.Their own site states the client is prompted to download the My PT Hub app from the App Store or Google Play; with the custom branded app add-on, the icon switches to your logo after the first login. A real mobile app published under your own App Store and Google Play listing is done under Enterprise, as a separately quoted project.Their White Label App publishes the app on the App Store and Google Play under your business name. Their own site sells it as an add-on on the Premium subscription, listed at €145 per month, and includes it in the Ultimate plan.

The timeline of an Enterprise project is agreed in a call.Their own site says most white label apps are fully branded and published within 4–6 weeks, depending on store approval, and states that an App Store developer account and a DUNS number are required.

What “branded” means on each side

On My PT Hub, branding arrives in two steps. By default your client downloads the My PT Hub app; with the custom branded app add-on (listed at €95, a one-time fee — read on August 27, 2026) your icon and colours replace theirs after the first login, but the download is still theirs. A listing under your own business name is a different product: the White Label App, listed as a €145 per month add-on on the Premium subscription and included in Ultimate. On FitBrand there is no ladder: from Pro upward the client app carries only your brand, on your own subdomain — but it is a web app, not a store listing. The store listing is a separate project under Enterprise, quoted as custom work.

That structural difference has sides that favour My PT Hub, and there is no point hiding them:

  • You start it yourself. You pick Premium and buy the add-on; with us there is a call and a quote first.
  • The price is known upfront. A published monthly figure on top of the subscription; with us the figure follows the scope of the project.
  • The launch window is stated. Their own site says most white label apps are published within 4–6 weeks.
  • Part of the standard product. For them a store listing is an add-on open to any Premium subscriber; for us it is work run on request.

Whichever model it comes in, a store listing carries its own costs: their own site states that an App Store developer account and a DUNS number are required, there is a store approval process, and every branding change is tied to publishing a release. The app you publish on FitBrand's subscription plans is a web app (a PWA) and carries none of those costs — but it is not searchable in the store either. Which model is right depends on how valuable being in the store is for your business.

Where FitBrand is strong

Only your brand, from the first screen

Your client never sees another company's name. They open yourbrand.fitbrand.app, add it to their home screen, and every screen after that is yours. No icon that changes after login.

Live today, no paperwork

Sign up, upload your logo, pick your colour. There is no review queue, no developer account and no DUNS number to obtain.

Your language, end to end

The dashboard, the client app and the landing page all in one language, out of 9 supported. Billing in Türkiye is in Turkish lira and support is in Turkish.

AI drafts, you approve

The assistant suggests workout plans, exercise swaps, progress commentary and client messages. None of it reaches the client until you approve it.

Frequently asked questions

What does FitBrand offer as a My PT Hub alternative?

FitBrand gives a personal trainer a client app with their own logo, colour and subdomain (yourbrand.fitbrand.app). It is not published in an app store; the client opens the link and adds it to their home screen, and from the first screen they see only your brand. That is why the time to go live is measured in minutes, no Apple or Google developer account is needed, and branding changes go live instantly. The interface works in 9 languages including Turkish, and there is a free plan that never expires.

Where is My PT Hub stronger?

In the app stores. Their White Label App publishes the client app under your own business name on the App Store and Google Play, sold as an add-on on the Premium subscription at €145 per month and included in the Ultimate plan (read on August 27, 2026). So you buy it yourself without waiting for a sales call, you know the monthly cost upfront, and their own site says most white label apps are published within 4–6 weeks. They also advertise a 30-day free trial with no card, and unlimited clients from the Premium plan up. FitBrand builds a real mobile app under your own store listing too, but not as a subscription feature: it runs as a separate project under Enterprise and is quoted as custom work.

Does FitBrand build apps on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, but not as a feature of the subscription plans. We build a real mobile app published under your own listing on the App Store and Google Play under Enterprise; that is a separate piece of work whose scope is agreed in a call and which is quoted as a custom project. The branded client app you get on the Free, Pro and Elite plans is a web app (a PWA) published on your own subdomain and is not published in a store.

Is FitBrand's client app a real app?

On your client's phone it behaves like an app, with its own icon, its own splash screen and a full-screen interface, and it can send push notifications. It works on iOS and Android. On the subscription plans it is technically a web app (a PWA), which means it cannot be found by searching the App Store or Google Play — it is installed from a link. If you want an app that people find by searching the store, we do that as a separate project under Enterprise.
