Privacy Policy
FitBrand ("FitBrand", "we", "us") provides software that personal trainers use to manage their coaching business and that their clients use to follow training and nutrition programs. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have. It applies to our websites, web apps, and mobile apps (together, the "Service").
1. Who we are
The Service is operated by FitBrand, based in Türkiye. For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights, contact us at [email protected].
2. Information we collect
Account and profile data: name, email address, phone number, business name, profile photo, and credentials you create when you register. Trainers may add a public profile (bio, branding, contact details).
Content and fitness data: workout plans, exercises, nutrition information, client records, body measurements, training notes, photos, and progress data that you or your trainer enter into the Service. Some of this is health and fitness information.
Subscription and purchase data: your subscription tier and status. In-app purchases are processed by Apple and Google and managed through RevenueCat; we receive purchase and renewal events, but we never receive your full payment card details.
Technical and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, IP address, language, approximate region, log data, and how you interact with the Service. We use this to keep the Service secure and to improve it.
3. How we use your information
To create and manage your account and authenticate you securely.
To provide the Service: deliver training programs, store client and progress data, and enable trainer–client communication.
To process subscriptions and verify entitlements.
To maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and debug problems.
To communicate with you about service, support, and important changes.
To comply with legal obligations.
4. Legal bases for processing
Where the GDPR or Türkiye's KVKK applies, we process personal data on these bases: performance of our contract with you (providing the Service), our legitimate interests (security, improvement, fraud prevention), your consent (where required, e.g. certain optional features), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time.
5. How we share information
With service providers who help us run the Service under contract, including hosting and storage, authentication, and subscription processing (Apple, Google, RevenueCat). They may only use the data to provide their service to us.
Between trainer and client: data a client enters is visible to their trainer, and program data a trainer assigns is visible to that client. This is core to how the Service works.
For legal reasons: to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety, and security.
In a business transfer: if FitBrand is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, except where we must retain limited information to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can delete your account and associated personal data at any time from within the app or at fitbrand.app/delete-account. To exercise any other right, email [email protected].
8. Data security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and other technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to incidents.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International data transfers
We and our service providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for international transfers.
11. Health and fitness data
The Service stores fitness and body data (such as measurements, workouts, and progress photos) so trainers can coach clients. We treat this data as sensitive, use it only to provide the Service, and never sell it or use it for advertising.
12. Cookies
Our web apps use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as language. We do not use them for cross-site advertising.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version here and update the date above; significant changes will be communicated through the Service.
